On September 23, 2023, the Phoenix Suns were part of a 3-team trade with Portland and Milwaukee. One of the players the Suns received was Grayson Allen. This raised eyebrows in many people. Giving what happened the season before. 

     During that season, Grayson played for Milwaukee and did a hard foul on Chicago’s Alex Caruso, breaking his wrist and sidelining Alex for a period of time. Grayson was ejected from the game and later suspended by the NBA for 1 game.  Grayson was called a dirty player, a locker room cancer, amongst other things.

         Fast Forward 12 months and Grayson Allen is an integral part of the Phoenix Suns. Grayson led the league in a 3-point percentage 46.1 %. Grayson scored career highs in most statistics, including points and assists.

        Grayson signed a new contract of 70 million dollars over 4 years.  Grayson also became a fan favourite.  Something a lot of people didn’t think would happen.
