The Phoenix Suns 4th Week

On the 10th of November, the Sacramento Kings came to Phoenix to take on the Suns. The Suns got news that star forward Kevin Durant had a calf strain and was out for a minimum of 2 weeks.

The match was evenly played as both teams had mini runs. The game went right to the wire as Devin Booker had a chance at the death to win the game. However it went into Overtime.

In Overtime, the Kings were too good and ran out winners 127 to 118. DeMar Derozen scored 24 points in the 4th quarter and overtime. This ended the Suns 7 game winning streak.

The player of the game was Bradley Beal 28P/8R/2A.

The positives were rebounding, turnovers, and perimeter defence.

The negatives were shooting and defence in the 4th quarter and overtime.

On the 15th of November, the Phoenix Suns went to Oklahoma to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Both teams have a big injury list and to star players.  The Phoenix Suns never got going as OKC defence was too good. OKC is leading 29 to 14 and never looks like losing this one. OKC went on to win 99 to 83.

The player of the game Josh Okogie with 15P/9R/1A.

The positives were really only holding OKC to under 100 points. This was really an embarrassing loss, considering they only had 2 players over 6 foot 5 and no one over 6 foot 9.

The negatives were rebounding, turnovers, and offence in every aspect.

The Suns didn’t play 2 more games. 12th of November against the Utah Jazz in Utah. Also, the 13th of November against the Sacramento Kings in Sacramento.

My main man, Joshua Hunt, has done amazing articles on these 2 games, and I strongly recommend that you read his articles they are superb.

The Suns player of the week is Josh Okogie for his consistent play, especially in the last 2 games. Josh could be pushing for a rotation spot.

The Suns won 1 out of 4 games and sat 9 wins and 4 losses to sit 5th in the western conference.
