On the 7th of April, the Phoenix Suns went to New York to take on the New York Knicks. The first quarter was  quite close, with the Knicks having a small lead 27 to 23 at the end of the quarter.

Which has been a common thread at lat the Suns had nothing more to give as the Knicks ran out comfortably winners 112 to 98.

      The player of the game was Devin Booker with 40P/4R/3A. However, Devin had 4 turnovers.

      The positives were rebounding, turnovers, and having 12 more possessions than the New York Knicks.

     The negatives  were 3 point shooting, defence, and fast break points.

      On the 9th of April, the Golden State Warriors came to Phoenix to take on the Phoenix Suns. The Suns had a horrific start to the game, being down 69 to 43 at half time.

     Unfortunately for the Suns, the longer the game went, the worse it got for the Suns, losing 133 to 95.

       The player of the game was Devin Booker with 21P/3R/4A.However, Devin did have 5 turnovers.

    The positives were shot blocking, offensive rebounding, and free throw shooting.

    The negative offence, defence, and allowing Golden State Warriors 10 extra possessions.

      On the 10th of April, the Oklahoma City Thunder came to Phoenix to take on the Phoenix Suns. Bucking against the trend, the Suns had a strong first half leading 67 to 62 at half time.

     In the third quarter, the Thunder went in a run and never looked back. The Thunder won 125 to 112.

      The player of the game was Colin Gillespie with 17P/6R/4A .

    The positives were offence,rebounding, and shot blocking.

     The negatives were defence,points in the paint and turnovers.

      On the 12th of April, the San Antonio Spurs came to Phoenix to take on the Phoenix Suns. The Phoenix Suns got off to a slow start being down 33 to 28 at the first break.

         The Phoenix Suns front there turned it around the first time in a long time after the first quarter. The next quaters, the Suns, took control of the game leading 92 to 64 with 1 quarter to go.

    The Suns cruised to the victory 117 to 98.

       The player of the game was Ryan Dunn with 26P/11R/1A. The 26 points from Ryan are a career high.  

      The positives were offence, defence, and having  12 more possessions than the Spurs.

       The negatives were fast break points….in what was a dominant performance by the Suns.

             The player of the week was Devin Booker for his consistent play.

        The Phoenix Suns have won 36 games and lost 45 games. The Suns are sitting on the 11th in the Western Conference. The Phoenix Suns have officially been eliminated from the play in the tournament in what has been a disappointing season.
