The Phoenix Suns 14th Week

    On the 21st of January, the Phoenix Suns went to Cleveland to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers.  The first quater was evenly matched with the quarter ending 27 all. After the first quarter, the Cavaliers dominated the game.

    This was a game between what a contender looks like and what a team that is struggling to a degree looks like.  The Cavaliers went on to win the game 118 to 92.

      The player of the game was Kevin Durant with 23P/7R/1A.

    The positives were their field goal percentage, and that’s it on what was a disappointing performance.

      The negatives were  turnovers, rebounding and giving the Cavaliers 22 extra possessions.

       On the 23rd of January, the Phoenix Suns went to Brooklyn to take on the Brooklyn Nets. The Suns started their first quarter great winning the first quarter 28 you 16.

        The Suns didn’t let go and won the game in convincing fashion 108 to 84.

        The player of the game was Devin Booker with 32P/2R/6A.

      The positives of the game were defence,turnovers, and ball movement.

        The negatives were rebounding and allowing Brooklyn to have 2 more possessions.

       On the 26th of January, Washington Wizards came to Phoenix to take on the Phoenix Suns. The Suns had a good first half leading 68 to 53 over the Wizards.

           The Suns would go and get a big lead and then with poot shot selection allowing the Wizards to get within a couple of possessions. The Suns went on to win 119 to 109.

     The player of the game was Nick Richards with 20P/19R/1A. The 19 rebounds were a career high for Nick.

         The positives were rebounding, turnovers, and getting 4 more possessions than Washington.

     The negatives were 3 point shooting,field goal shooting, and defence, especially when the Suns were up by double digits.

     The Suns had a good week considering winning 2 games and losing 1. The Suns are 23 wins and 21 losses sitting 8th in the western conference.
