On the 23rd of December, the Phoenix Suns went to Denver to take on the Denver Nuggets. The first half was mostly an even affair with Denver leading 55 to 51 at the half-time break.
In the 3rd quarter, the Denver Nuggets destroyed the Phoenix Suns with a 45 to 28 point third quarter. The Nuggets kept going winning the game in convincing fashion 117 to 90.
The player of the game was Kevin Durant with 23P/9R/2A.
The positives of the game were there wasn’t one in what was a very disappointing game by the Suns.
The negatives were rebounding, turnovers,offence, and basically everything else.
On the 25th of December, the Denver Nuggets came to Phoenix to take on the Phoenix Suns. The first half was quite close, with the Suns taking a small lead 58 to 56 at half time.
In the second half, the suns’ defence was amazing, and did a complete 180 degrees from the previous game. The Suns winning 110 to 100.
The player of the game was Bradley Beal with 27P/2R/4A.
The positives free throw shooting, turnovers, and defence, especially the second half.
The only real negative was rebounding.
On the 27th of December, the Dallas Mavericks came to Phoenix to take on the Phoenix Suns. This was a game the Mavericks dominated from start to finish.
The Mavericks led 55 to 39 at half time and cruised to victory 98 to 89.
Kevin Durant was the player of the game with 35P/3R.
The positives were defence, our steals and rebounds.
The negatives were turnovers,poor offence, and poor ball movement.
On the 28th of December, the Phoenix Suns went to San Francisco to take on the Golden State Warriors. The game was tight basically all the way through the game.
The Suns had a 7 point lead mid way through the 4th quarter. However, had no idea how to close the game out. The Golden State Warriors won this game 109 to 105.
The player of the game was Kevin Durant with 31P/6R/3A/4B. However, also 8 turnovers.
The positives were defence,shot blocking, and free throw shooting.
The negatives rebounding, turnovers, and have no clue on how to close out a game.
The player of the week for the Phoenix Suns went to Kevin Durant with 3 of the 4 player of the games.
This was a very bad week for the Phoenix Suns with 1 win and 3 losses. The Phoenix Suns fall behind the 500 mark with 15 wins and 16 losses.
The Phoenix Suns now sit 11th in the western conference, which means if the season ended now, the Phoenix Suns wouldn’t even be in the play in.
