The Phoenix Suns 23rd Week

      On the 25th of March, the Milwaukee Bucks came to Phoenix to take on the Phoenix Suns. The game was close from start to finish. The scores were tied at 106, with the Phoenix Suns calling a time out with 5 seconds remaining.

     Devin Booker hit the winning shot with 1.7 seconds remaining. The Phoenix Suns won the game 108 to 106.

      The player of the game was Kevin Durant with 38P/8R/5A. However, Kevin did have 5 turnovers.

      The positives were defence,rebounding, and shot blocking.

      The negatives were turnovers, fast break points, and points in the paint.

       On the 27th of March, the Boston Celtics came to Phoenix to take on the Phoenix Suns. The first quater was a shoot out with Boston edging 42 to 38 after quarter time.

     For the rest of the game, the Suns could not contain the barrage of 3 pointers from the Celtics.  The Celtics easily won the game 132 to 102.

            The player of the game was Kevin Durant with 30P/1R/2A.

      The only real positive for the Phoenix Suns was free throw shooting.

    The negatives were too much to mention.

       On the 29th of March, the Phoenix Suns went to Minnesota to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Suns again got off to a slow start down by 6 at the first quarter break.

        Then the game went down from there as Minnesota cruised to an easy win 124 to 109.

       The player of the game was Colin Gillespie 22P/5R/10A.

      The positives for the game were shooting and ball movement in what was a very poor display by the Suns.

       The negatives were rebounding, turnovers, and defence.

      The player of the week was Kevin Durant, and he was the player of the game in 2 out of 3 games played.

      After a good week by the Suns, this week was the opposite, winning 1 game and losing 2 games. The Suns have won 35 games and lost 39 games.

      The Suns are in 11th place in the western conference 1 game behind the Sacramento Kings.
