The Phoenix Suns 19th Week

          On the 24th of February, the Phoenix Suns went to Toronto to take on the Toronto Raptors. The Suns first half wasn’t good, heading   into half-time 67 to 52 points down.

           The Raptors were dominating and had a 19-point margin over the Suns. The Suns fought back, being only down 2 with 5 minutes to go in the game.

      Unfortunately, that was it for the Suns as the Raptors went onto win 127 to 109.

          The player of the game was Devin Booker with 31P/ 4R/8A.

       The positives were shot blocking, field goal percentage and turnovers.

      The negatives were defence,rebounding, and giving Toronto 8 more possessions.

           On the 26th of February, the Phoenix Suns went to Memphis to take on the Memphis Grizzlies. The Suns actually played quite well in this game.

     The Suns were up 62 to 58 at half time. The game was in reach of both teams until the final whistle.  The Suns had a lead until Ja Morant hit a floater to tie the game 137 a piece. 

     In overtime, the game was close. However, the Grizzlies prevailed 151 to 148.

     The player of the game was Bradley Beal with 24P/5R/11A.

     The positives offence,shot blocking and rebounding.

      The negatives were defence,turnovers, and points in the paint.

       On the 28th of February, the New Orleans Pelicans cane to Phoenix to take on the Phoenix Suns. The Pelicans came out in the first half, getting a lead of 18 points lead in the second quarter.

     The Suns rallied back to lead at half time 62 to 61. The Suns had a solid 3rd quarter to keep the lead  91 to 88 leading into the 4th quarter. The Suns were overrun in the last quarter, losing 124 to 116.

       The player of the game was Devin Booker with 36P/7R/9A. However, Devin also had 4 turnovers.

       The positives were offence, turnovers, and movement of the basketball.

          The negatives were defence,rebounding, and points in the paint.

        On the first of March, the New Orleans Pelicans came to Phoenix to take on the Phoenix Suns.  The Suns dominated the first quarter leading 40 to 18 at the first break.

      The Phoenix Suns kept a double-digit lead until the end in one of their best performances. The Suns won 125 to 108.

      The player of the game was Bol Bol with 25P/3R/2A.

    The positives were offence,ball movement, and 3 point percentage.

    The negatives were rebounding, turnovers, and allowing the Pelicans 10 extra possessions.

        The Phoenix Suns had a very bad week, winning 1 game and losing 3 games. The Phoenix Suns have a record of 28 wins and 32 losses and are sitting 11th in the western conference.
