On the 12th of February, the Memphis Grizzlies came to Phoenix to take on the Phoenix Suns.   The Suns did not start well and were behind  68 to 56 at the half-time time break.

     In the second half, the Suns fought back, getting the lead to 3 with 2:34 to go in the final quarter. Unfortunately, the Grizzlies held on and won 119 you 112.

       The player of the game was Kevin Durant with 34P/3R/3A  and also had 5 blocks. Also, Kevin Durant passed 30 thousand points, becoming the 8th player in NBA history to do so.

        The positives were ball movement, turnovers, and free throw shooting.

     The negatives were rebounding, defence, and allowing Memphis 12 more possessions.

         On the 13th of February, the Phoenix Suns went to Houston to take on the Houston Rockets. For the most part, the Phoenix Suns were playing very well.

        The Suns had an 8 point lead after 3 quarter time. Then, the Suns went against everything that was successful.  The Rockets won the 4th quarter 35 to 19. Suns are losing the game 119 to 111.

         The player of the game was Kevin Durant with 37P/5R/5A.  However, Kevin had 7 turnovers.

The positives  were offence, perimeter defence, and shot blocking.

      The negatives were rebounding, turnovers and points in the paint.

    This was another disappointing week with the Suns losing both games. Heading ingram into the all-star break, the Suns have a record 26 wins and 28 losses.

          This puts the Suns 11th in the western conference and 1.5 games behind Golden State Warriors for the 10th spot.
