On the 17th of January, the Phoenix Suns went to Washington to take on the Washington Wizards. This was a game where the Suns dominated the first 3 quarters of the game.

The player of the game was Devin Booker with 37P/3R/5A. Also, this was Ryan Dunn’s first NBA double double with 18P and 11R.

The negatives were defence, turnovers, especially the final quarter, and allowing the Wizards 5 exrea possessions.
On the 19th of January, the Phoenix Suns went to Detroit to take on the Detroit Pistons. This was a close game throughout where the largest lead by either team was 7 points.
In a high scoring game, the Suns won 125 to 121. This was a difficult game for the Suns as the Pistons had won 10 out of the last 13, making them one of the hottest teams in the NBA.
The player of the game was Kevin Durant with 36P/7R/5A with also 3 blocks. Kevin had a slow start with 6 points in the first half. Then Kevin explosed with 30 second half points.
This was the first game of Nick Richards, who was acquired in a trade for Josh Okogie. Nick finished with 21P/11R/1A while shooting 7 from 8 and a plus 22.
The positives were offence, turnovers, and points in the paint.
The negatives were defence, rebounding, and 3 point shooting.
The Suns also played the Hornets, which they won 120 to 113 and the Hawks, which lost 122 to 117.
