The Phoenix Suns Third Week

         On the 4th of November, the Philadelphia Sixers came to take on the Phoenix Suns in Phoenix. 

            The game was close, and both teams had a lead for the first 3 quarters. In the 4th quarter, the Sixers gained control and was leading 115 to 106 with 3 minutes to go.

     The Suns then went on 12 points to 1 run. To win the game 118 to 116.

     The best player for the Suns was Kevin Durant 35P/4R/6A.

     The positives were their shooting, especially from the free throw line. Also, the Suns were  strong on the rebounding.

      The negatives were too many turnovers and defensive lapses.

      On the 6th of November, the Miami Heat came to Phoenix to take on the Suns.

      The first half was evenly played between both teams. In the 3rd quarter, the Heat opened up a 15-point lead. However, the Suns finished the quarter on a 15 to 3 run. The Heat had a 3 point lead heading into the final quater.

   The Suns had a good last quarter, running out of victors 115 to 112.

     The player of the game was Jusuf Nurkic with 20P/18R and a perfect 3 from 3 from long range.

     The positives were shooting from the field and did well with block shots.

    The negatives  were rebounding, turnovers, and foul shooting.

     On the 8th of November, the Suns went to Dallas to take on the Dallas Mavericks. The Suns had a good first half, taking  a 63 to 50 half-time lead.

      The Mavericks came back on a 15 to 2 run to tie the game. The game was close until the end. Royce missed a shot with Jusuf getting offensive rebounds and getting fould with less than 1 second on the game clock. The game was tied at that stage 113 a piece. Jusuf hit one out of 2 free throws, winning the game 114 to 113.

        The player of the game was Royce O’Neale  18P/5R and a perfect  4 from 4 from long range.

       The positives were rebounding, turnovers, and perimeter defence.

     The negatives were defence in the 3rd quarter and free throws.

      The Suns had a perfect week with winning all 3 games. The Suns are on a 7 game winning streak and sit equal first on the western conference at 8 wins and 1 loss.
