On Sunday the 13th of October, the Suns went to Denver to take on the Nuggets. This looked to be an easy win for the Nuggets as the Suns rested 7 players, including their starting 5. It was anything but that. The Suns won 118 to 114. The Suns showed grit and determination and would not let Denver get too far ahead. The Suns shot 52 from range at 44% accuracy. The Suns were led by a number of players, Morris, with 20P,2R,7A, Bol with 14P,8R,1A, and O’Neale 17P, 4R, 4A. The star of the game, however, was Dunn on both ends 20P, 4R, 4A, 2S, and 3B.
The only negative is that if there was one, there were too many turnovers at 16. This is a team that can be scary if they can stay healthy. The next game and final one of the preseason will be Thursday, the 17th of October, when the LA Lakers come to town. The LA Lakers beat the Phoenix Suns 128 to 122 in overtime.
This was the last hit out for the Suns, and it was a good hit out despite the loss. Jusif played his first game for the Suns and was fantastic. In 17 minutes,15 points and 7 rebounds while shooting 2 from 4 from deep for Jusif. The Suns look ready.
The negatives were that Bradley looked lost sometimes, and to me, it looked like he was trying too hard on the odd occasion. Bol took a step back and was late in the game hung on the net. Which earned him a technical that wasn’t smart.
